We collect the minimum we need to make VECINTI work: finding services, booking them, and paying providers. This page explains what that means in practice.
It applies to the VECINTI web app, the provider dashboard, and any related services.
What we collect
From customers: name, email, phone (optional), and the bookings you make. Payment details are handled directly by Stripe; VECINTI never sees full card numbers.
From providers: business listing details, service catalog, schedule, and connected Stripe account info needed to receive payouts.
Automatically: basic device and usage logs (IP, browser, the pages you visit) so we can keep the service running and prevent abuse.
How we use it
- Run the booking and payment flow.
- Send booking confirmations, reminders, and review requests.
- Share booking details with the provider you booked, and vice versa.
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
- Improve the product. We use aggregated metrics, never sell individual data.
Sharing
We share data with the parties needed to deliver the service you asked for: the provider you booked, our payment processor (Stripe), and our email provider (Resend).
We don't sell your personal data and we don't use it for advertising on third-party platforms.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it. Email privacy@vecinti.com.
If you're in the EU/UK, you can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Retention
We keep booking records for as long as needed to support providers' tax and accounting obligations (typically 7 years). Account data is deleted within 30 days of an account closure request, except where law requires otherwise.
Security
Payments run through Stripe. Sign-in runs on our own authentication (with optional Google sign-in). Our own databases are encrypted at rest, and access is logged and limited to the team members who need it.
Children
VECINTI isn't for children under 16. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll remove the account.
